harnessing the power of photography for good

passing it on….

thursday nite, feb 10th. cyndy and i got back late from mitla, after taking portraits and enjoying Bible study with pastor americo and pastor jesus.  everyone was eating fresh homemade quesadillas.  we ended up sitting in what would best be described as the “chefs table” in a fancy restaurant in the usa.  where you get to eat and enjoy the view as the food is prepared before your eyes.  of course as photographers, we could resist the view and had to shoot the action…tortillas being hand rolled and pressed before being thrown on the fire, then the cheese and peppers and other yummy stuff being added to it before being served to you steaming hot.  sweet, it was a sight to be seen.  i think you could charge big bucks for this type of experience, be it to foodies or photographers.  it would be worth the charge to see and shoot this stuff. hermana norma and her mom in action…something theyve probably done hundreds if not thousands of times over the years….to witness that was truly priceless!
