harnessing the power of photography for good

Oaxaca :: Jesus, the Dead & La Resurreccion

As some of you may know, my Aunt passed away yesterday, March 24th.  You can read more HERE.

Trying to keep focused, on Jesus today…the Adventures in Life Med Team went to Mitla today before church, and while walking the ruins and surrounding buildings I stumbled upon the following mural…

Loosely translated…Mitla is the sacred city of the dead, the grave is not the end.  The resurrection of JesusMark 16:1-8.

There’s comfort in knowing Christ offers eternal life to those who ask…

Do you know Jesus?  If not, ask us or please go HERE

This is in the courtyard of San Pablo Mitla Church.  Which is part of the Mitla Archeological Ruins Site.  The area is the second most important ceremonial site next to Monte Alban (Mitla is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.)

Oaxaca and Mitla are fascinating areas rich in history and culture.  If you are a photographer and want to experience it firsthand…let us know.  Maybe you can join us on future missions…

You can read more about what were doing this week at the Adventures in Life Facebook page HERE.
