harnessing the power of photography for good

Soli Deo Gloria!

Soli Deo Gloria

all the glory belongs to God, and God alone.

whether it be big or small,  all we do and acomplish is ultimately because of God.  and for us to think otherwise is pride, arrogance, and plain foolishness.  this is true in all aspects of our lives of followers of Christ,  and that includes the work of the photographers at the rock.   anything good we do is always subordinate to God’s best.

the mission of the rock photographers is to document the life of the rock church, showing the work of God’s Holy Spirit, as we seek to save, equip, and send out soul-winners for Jesus Christ.

     Proverbs 25  verse 2
It is the glory of God to conceal things,
but the glory of kings is to search things out.
God has given the photographers the privilege of seeking out and documenting the things that God has concealed and revealed to us.  God is still in the business of transforming lives and performing miracles, and our goal is to show others this through our images.
in the end it really doesnt matter what kind of camera you have or use… if its a big camera you can spy on people from across the way, or a point n shoot disposable camera.  if you cant take a good pic, you cant take a good pic.  the camera aint gonna change that.

so go and take pics.  pics that tell stories, shows off God’s creation, shows others whats good about this world and this life.  too often all we see in the msm (mainstream media) is the dirty, ugly, and bad in this world.  God’s Word tells us that in the end, good wins!  God wins!

its the hope of the rock photographers to show this through our images.  and hopefully we can inspire, encourage, and motivate others to use photography as a medium to reveal all thats good in the san diego and the world around us.

come join us as we seek out the good that God has concealed…

Soli Deo Gloria!
